Eagles want the Phillies to hit homers around the world

Today is the first day of the season for the Philadelphia Phillies. This much you know. With the big day comes best wishes through the use of social media from some of the other pro sports teams around the city. The Philadelphia Union tweeted their support to the Phillies. So did the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, of course. And while you may want to think the Phillies and Eagles are pro sports rivals, for whatever reason you choose to buy, the NFL franchise across the street sent their best wishes to their baseball neighbors. Apparently the Eagles either need a geography lesson or they think we are in store for some true mammoth home runs this summer.

Of course, hitting home runs into Lincoln Financial Field will be a little tricky, given that the orientation of Citizens Bank Park faces the city and not The Linc.
